1. Start Acronis True Image 2017.
2. On the sidebar, click Dashboard, and then click Connect Device.
A QR code will be displayed. Please do not close this window.
3. On your mobile device:
1. Start Acronis True Image.
2. Tap Back up to computer.
3. Tap I already have it, or follow the on-screen instructions to install Acronis True Image 2017
on your computer.
4. Tap Scan QR code, point your camera at the QR code on the computer screen, and then wait
until the mobile device is connected to the computer.
5. Allow Acronis True Image to access the data that you want to back up. When you select all
the data items, the backup starts automatically. Otherwise, tap Back up anyway.
When the backup is started, you can track the progress in any application - on the computer
or mobile device, but the errors and warning messages are displayed in the mobile app only.
6. [Optional] If you want data changes (for example, new photographs) to be backed up
automatically, make sure the Continuous backup setting is turned on. If this setting is turned
off, the new data is backed up only when you tap Back up.
You can close both Acronis True Image 2017 on your computer and the Acronis True Image mobile
app. The backup will continue in the background mode.

Acronis True Image for mobile devices allows you to back up your data to Acronis Cloud or to local
storage on your computer, and then recover it in case of loss or corruption. Note that backup to the
cloud storage requires an Acronis Cloud subscription.
Which devices does the mobile app support?
You can install Acronis True Image on any mobile devices that runs either iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod) or
the Android (mobile phones and tablets) operating systems.
