Flash Photography Flash Photography
Use shoe-mounted fl ash units for additional lighting at night or indoors under low light.
1 Remove the hot shoe cover and slide the fl ash onto the hot
shoe as shown, stopping when it clicks into place.
Optional Flash Units Optional Flash Units
The camera can be used with optional FUJIFILM shoe-
mounted fl ash units (
P 112). Do not use third-party fl ash
units that apply over 300 V to the camera hot shoe.
The Sync Terminal The Sync Terminal
Use the sync terminal to connect fl ash units that require a sync cable.
Removing the Flash Removing the Flash
Flash units mounted on the hot shoe can be removed by lowering
the fl ash and pressing the PUSH button while sliding the unit from
the shoe.
2 Raise the fl ash.
