Specifying the MIDI Transmit Channel
(MIDI CHANNEL)
In order for you to play sounds on a MIDI sound module, the A-88MKII’s MIDI transmit channel must match the MIDI sound module’s MIDI receive
channel.
NOTE
This setting is remembered even when you turn off the power.

Press the [FUNC] button .
The target’s zone button blinks. You can change the target by
pressing a different zone button.
2. Press the keys that have “MIDI CH 1–16” printed above
them.

2. Press the keys that have “BANK MSB” or “BANK LSB” printed
above them.
3. Press the keys that have “NUMERIC (0–9)” printed above
them to input value.
Range: 0–127
4. Press the [NEXT] (ENTER) button .
Each time you use the pads to send a program change, the MSB
and LSB are also transmitted.
