Software availability and fulfillment
In-box file layout
The HP Color LaserJet 1600 printing-system software consists of a single file set for installation on
Microsoft Windows operating systems. The files include both documentation files and files required to
install and uninstall the systems. The files reside in the following directories:
● Root directory
● Apps directory
● <language> directories (where <language> stands for the individual languages on each CD)
● Screen Fonts directory
To view the files, insert the HP Color LaserJet 1600 printing-system software CD, right-click Start, click
Explore, and then select the CD-ROM drive.

The following table presents the part numbers and language groups for Microsoft Windows on the
software CDs for the HP Color LaserJet 1600 printer.
