Patient Registration Demonstration
Health care professionals can use two-dimensional symbologies for patient
applications. In this demonstration, patient registration information is encoded
on an identification card that is scanned each time the patient arrives for
treatment. Both the health care professional and the patient benefit from the
enhanced accuracy, efficiency, and security that photo identification provides.
