The binding margin
appears in the wrong

You may not have chosen
the correct paper
orientation.
Windows PC
•
Make sure you have chosen the correct paper orientation for
Two-Sided Printing, either Book or Tablet , on the Features tab
of Printer Properties.
Macintosh
•
Make sure you have chosen the correct Binding option on the
Layout panel in the Print dialog.
Automatic is set as the
paper type, but the printer
does not use the optimal
print mode.
The paper may be marked,
scratched, or wrinkled.
The paper may be
letterhead or stationery with
a preprinted pattern at the
top edge.
The paper may be dark in
color or contain metallic
fibers.
The printer may detect this type of media as Plain Paper.
PC
•
Select the appropriate paper type on the Setup tab of Printer
Properties .
Macintosh
•
Select the appropriate paper type on the Paper Type/Quality
panel of the Print dialog.
If the paper is damaged in any way, the sensor may not detect paper
type and size accurately. Make sure the paper is clear and free of
scratches or wrinkles.
