Resetting the Device

You can choose from Restart, Restore, and Reset to Defaults. See

Figure 4-6

. Each of

these functions take approximately 2 minutes to complete, and during that time, the camera
will lose connection to the Web-Client. You will be asked if you wish to proceed before the
action occurs.

Device Name as entered in the
IP Utility program

IP Address on the network

(DHCP/Static/APIPA)

Firmware Settings including
product name and version

Video Format - NTSC or PAL

Subnet Mask and Default Gateway
address that connects the camera to
the network

MAC Address is a factory assigned
address unique for each device

Restart

Restarts the camera while maintaining the existing configurations.

Restore

Resets the camera to the factory defaults, except the network settings.

Reset to
Defaults

Resets to the camera’s factory defaults.
