3.5 Position Call
There are two types of position calls: other station requires your ship's position
and your ship requests position of another ship.
Finding position of other station
Own Station Other Station

(2)Position Information
Sending own ship's position to other station

(2) Sends position Information
3.5.1 Position call: requesting other ship's position
1. Press the CALL key. The display changes from standby display to the
COMPOSE MESSAGE screen and the CALL TYPE is displayed in reverse
video.
2. Press the ENT key to open the call type list.
3. Rotate the CH knob (or press up / down arrow key) to choose POSITION and
press the ENT key.

SHIP ID :
SAFETY
KIND : POSITION REQ
COMM OPTION : NO INFO
ACK REQ
If a file is registered,
its registration name
is displayed.
If not, this field is blank.
4. SHIP ID is selected; press the ENT key.
5. Key in a ship ID for which you want to know its position.
6. Press the ENT key.
