Inserting and removing expansion cards
Two slots allow the operation of different expansion cards in your Pocket PC. Possible expansion
cards include memory cards (CF and SD/MMC), GPS cards, W-LAN and LAN cards.
! Consult the documentation supplied by the expansion card's manufacturer and follow the
instructions provided.
Never use force when inserting or removing an expansion card.
Only use expansion cards suitable for the Pocket LOOX 600.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the slot.
Inserting expansion card

Ê Remove the placeholder from slot (1) if necessary.
Ê Place the expansion card in the slot so that the contacts enter first.
Ê Follow the instructions of the card manufacturer in the documentation for your expansion card if
necessary.
Ê Gently push the expansion card into the slot until you feel it click into place (2).
Ê Proceed in exactly the same way when inserting an expansion card in the side slot (3).
