Washing and drying in a
continuous sequence
Where the amount of laundry to be
washed and dried in one programme
does not exceed the maximum
weight permitted for the drying
programme, washing and drying in
one continuous sequence is
recommended.
It is essential to read both sections
"Separate washing" and "Separate
drying" first.
A Sort the laundry
B Switch the machine on
C Open the drum door
D Load the drum
Maximum loads:
Cottons . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.5 kg
Minimum iron . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.0 kg
Quick wash . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.0 kg
Spin . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.5 kg
Do not use detergent dispensing
aids, e.g. plastic dispenser balls, for
washing followed immediately by the
drying programme. These
dispensers can melt during the
drying programme and cause
damage to the machine and the
laundry.
E Close the drum door
F Open the stopcock
G Add detergent
Use approximately 1/3 less detergent
than is recommended by the
manufacturer on the packaging.
H Select the programme.
^ Turn the WASHING programme
selector to the required programme.
^ Press the "Spin" button repeatedly
until the indicator lamp for the spin
speed you want comes on.
^ Select any additional options that you
require for the washing programme.
I Select a drying programme
^ Turn the DRYING programme
selector to the required drying
programme.
The Thermospin will automatically be
carried out using the same spin speed
as used in the wash programme.
The Thermospin will not be carried out
if:
– you have selected a TIMED DRYING
programme;
– the additional option Drying/Low
temp has been selected.
^ If required, select the additional
option Drying/Low temp .
J If required, select a "Delay start"
period.
K Start the programme
^ Press the START button.
