Your fax machine has numerous special features to make your communication easier.
We’ll cover them here.
Duplexed transmission
You can send 2-sided documents from the ADF .
How to set the document
Set the documents as shown below:
To send 2-sided documents:
1 Adjust the document guides to fit the page(s) you’ll be faxing.
2 Align the edge of your documents and stack them in the ADF face up.
3 Press MENU .
Select “Duplex Tx” and press [Enter].
4 The LCD will show:
5 Select the binding position of your documents.
Then press [Enter]. The duplex icon will
appear.
6 Adjust resolution, contrast and memory trans-
mission, if necessary.
7 Enter the fax number.
Also, enter any access codes necessary, just as you would for a regular phone
call. (Example: Enter 9 to “dial out” from an office telephone system, or 1 for
long-distance.)
8 Press START .
Important: If you want to cancel a transmission while scanning the docu-
ment, press the STOP key.
If you want to cancel a transmission in progress, use the Job
Review function. (See page 3.29.)
