Setting the time

Turn on the system.

Press CLOCK/TIMER SET on the
remote.

If you are setting the clock for the first time,
go to step 5.

remote repeatedly until “CLOCK SET?”
appears in the display.

Press ENTER/YES on the remote.

The day indication flashes.

remote repeatedly to set the day, and
then press ENTER/YES or CURSOR

The hour indication flashes.

remote to set the hour, and then press
ENTER/YES or CURSOR

remote repeatedly to set the minute,
and then press ENTER/YES on the
remote.

If you made a mistake

Press

TCURSOR or CURSORt on the

remote until the indication you wish to change
(day, hour, minute) flashes, and then change
the setting.

To reset the time

Start over from step 1.

Conserving power in
standby mode

Even if the system is off, the unit consumes
power to power the clock and to stay
responsive to commands from the remote.
Power saving mode was introduced to reduce
the amount of power consumed during standby.

In this mode, the clock or demonstration is not
displayed.

To change to power saving mode, press
DISPLAY or TIME on the remote
repeatedly while the system is off until
demonstration mode and the clock
disappear from the display.

To change the display

Press DISPLAY or TIME on the remote
repeatedly while the system is off.

The display changes as follows:

Clock display*

t Demonstration mode** t

Power saving mode

t Clock display* t …

* After about 8 seconds, the system returns to power

saving mode.

** The indications in the display and lamps on several

buttons light up or flash even after the system is
turned off.

Tip

The timer continues to operate during power saving
mode.
