Projector Ready Lights and Projector Status

The three projector ready lights are located on the underside of the projector. They are marked Lamp,

On/Standby and Temp (for temperature).

SMART Technologies technical support welcomes your call. However, if you experience difficulty with your
SMART product, you might want to contact your local SMART authorized reseller first. Your local reseller might
be able to resolve the issue without delay.

The projector isn’t receiving power.

Check the connection, power supply and power
switch at the back of the projector.

The projector is operating normally.

Flashing red

The projector is overheating. Make sure that nothing

is blocking the airflow into or away from the internal
fans. Turn off, unplug and reconnect the power cord,
wait a few minutes, and then turn on the system.

The projector is in Standby mode, ready to be
turned on.

There is a lamp power error. If the lamp warning
recently appeared, unplug the power cord and
change the lamp. Otherwise shut down, unplug

and reconnect the power cord, wait a few minutes,
and then turn on the system.

Flashing amber

Off

There is a power failure, or the lamp cover isn’t
installed correctly. Unplug the power cord, check
and re-attach the cover if necessary, reconnect

the power cord, wait a few minutes, and then turn

on the system.

Other errors have occurred that might require
diagnosis and professional work. Unplug and
