7.17 Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause and Remedy
• Check the paper type and quality. See “Selecting Paper
Media” on page 5.1.
• Ensure the document or other media is loaded correctly
and the guides are not set properly for the paper stack.
• Check the paper type and quality. See “Selecting Paper
Media” on page 5.1. Both high temperature and humidity
will cause the paper to curl.
• Turn the stack of paper in the paper input tray over.
Also, rotate the paper 180° in the tray.
• Ensure the paper is loaded properly.
