Note: If the network card diagnostic utility encounters a problem

when initiating the test (such as an SMC network card is not
found), a message appears, along with “OK” and “Help”
buttons, and the test does not run. To identify and resolve
the problem, click the “Help” button. To remove the
message, click the “OK” button.

The test runs to completion, even if the network card fails one or
more of the individual tests. If your network card fails any of the
tests, click the “Help” button in the main window for suggested
causes and remedies.
