• Latitude: lets you and your friends share locations and status
messages with each other. It also lets you send instant messages
and emails, make phone calls, and get directions to your friends’
locations.
• More:
– Labs: a testing ground for experimental features that are not ready to
use publicly.
– Cache Settings: select whether to prefetch map information when not
on a Wi-Fi connection or clear the cache of map tiles.
– Help: uses the browser to display a searchable Google Maps for
Android Help screen.
– Terms, Privacy & Notices: displays the Terms and Conditions,
Privacy Policy, or Legal Notices information. Select the desired
information from the pop-up menu.
– About: displays general information about Google maps such as
Version, Platform, Locale, Total data sent, Total data received, Free
memory, etc.
Market
Android Market provides access to downloadable applications and
games to install on your phone. Android Market also allows you to
provide feedback and comments about an application, or flag an
application that might be incompatible with your phone.
Downloading a New Application
Android Market provides several ways to find applications. The
home page lists Featured applications and includes a list of item
applications by category, a list of games, a link to search, and a
link to My apps (applications that you have already downloaded).
1. From the Home screen, tap (Applications) 
(Market).
2. If not already logged in with your Google account, tap Next,
tap Sign in, enter your Google account information and tap
Accept to agree to the Android Market terms of service.
3. To find an app, you can Browse through the Featured list,
select a category (Apps or Games) and sub-category, or
use the search box.
4. When you find an application you're interested in, tap the
name and read the application description.
5. If the application is free, tap Install. If there is a charge for
the application, tap Buy.
6. If the selected application requires access to data or control
of a function on your phone, Market displays the information
the application will access. Tap OK if you agree to the
conditions of the application. Once you tap OK on this
screen it uses. Use this feature with caution.
