Timeout

Sets the time delay before the screen is locked when turned off.

Use Tactile Feedback

When enabled, the phone vibrates as feedback while drawing the
unlock pattern, entering PIN numbers, or entering the password.

Disable USB debugging mode

Disable USB debugging mode while the screen is locked. This is
necessary when device encryption is enabled.

2.

Tap the Disable USB debugging mode checkbox to create a
checkmark.

Set up SIM Card Lock

Prevent another user from using your SIM card to make
unauthorized calls or from accessing information stored on your
SIM card by protecting the information using a PIN code.

1.

Location and security.

2.

Tap Set up SIM card lock.

3.

Tap Lock SIM card, enter your SIM PIN code, then tap OK.

Note: You must activate SIM card lock in order to change your SIM PIN code.

To change an existing SIM Card PIN:

1.

Tap Change SIM PIN.

2.

Enter the old SIM PIN code and tap OK.

3.

Enter the new SIM PIN code and tap OK.

4.

Re-type the new SIM PIN code and tap OK.

Visible Passwords

Displays the phone password as you type it instead of displaying
an asterisk (*) in place of each character.

Tap Visible passwords to activate this feature.

Device Administration

Activating this feature allows Google to administrate your phone in
a way similar to IT security settings on a corporate PC. This can be
beneficial if your phone is lost or stolen. The phone can be
“deactivated” or “restricted” from a remote location.
