Section 12: Changing Your Settings

This section explains the various settings for your phone.

Wireless and Networks

Flight mode

Flight mode allows you to use phone features that do not require
wireless communication when you are in an airplane or in any
other area where calls and data transfer are prohibited.

Important!: When your phone is in Flight mode, it cannot send or receive calls

or access online information or applications.

2.

Tap Flight mode. A check mark displayed next to the feature
indicates Flight mode is active.

Wi-Fi settings

Once set up for Wi-Fi connectivity, your phone automatically uses
Wi-Fi, when available, for all your mobile data services.

Configure the settings as desired.

To turn Wi-Fi on:

mark indicates that Wi-Fi is active.

Network Notification

By default, when Wi-Fi is on you receive notification in the Status
bar any time your phone detects an available Wi-Fi network. You
can deactivate this feature if you do not want to receive notification
of available networks.

Tap Network notification to enable or disable the function. A
check mark displayed next to the feature indicates Network
notification is active.

WPS Button Connection

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is a standard for easy and secure
wireless network set up and connection by pushing a button
instead of entering a network name and wireless security PIN. To
