This feature allows you set the phone to automatically switch to
power saving mode when the battery is low and configure
additional power saving options.

1.

Press

and then tap

(Settings)

Power

saving mode. Tap Use Power saving mode. A check mark
displayed at the right side and

in the status bar

indicate active status.

To adjust power saving options:

1.

Activate power saving mode (see above).

2.

Tap Power saving on at to assign the “battery low” level at
which the power saving mode is activated (10% battery
power, 30%, 50% or 70%.

To activate additional power saving features:

1.

Activate power saving mode (see above).

2.

Tap any of the available fields to adjust additional power
saving parameters.
• Turn Off Wi-Fi to disable Wi-Fi when it is not connected to a

router.

• Turn Off Bluetooth to disable Bluetooth when not in use or

actively transmitting data.

• Turn Off GPS to disable the GPS location system when not in

use.

• Turn off Sync to disable the feature when the phone is not

synchronizing with the server.

• Brightness to enable screen brightness adjustment.
• Brightness to adjust the brightness of the screen. For more

information, refer to “Adjusting Screen Brightness” on

page 177.

• Screen timeout to adjust the time delay before the screen turns

off when inactive.

• Power saving tips display additional information on the power

saving features.
