Note: A green bar displayed beneath the icon means the application is active
(turned on). The green bar is removed from beneath the icon when the
feature is deactivated (turned off).
Turn your Phone On and Off
To turn your phone on, press and hold
. Your phone will
automatically connect to the network. When you turn on your
phone for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to set up
your phone. Once the phone has been configured, you will not be
prompted with these screens again.
Important!: Before the initial configuration, you quickly access emergency
services by tapping Emergency call and using the on-screen dialer.

Locking and Unlocking the Phone
By default, the phone screen locks when the backlight turns off.

Place your finger on the screen and swipe the glass in any
direction to unlock the phone.
Note: You can choose to configure lock settings to prevent unauthorized use
of your phone. For more information, refer to “Use Visible Pattern” on
