DEFINITION OF TERMS
AZIMUTH: Circular rotation around the vehicle. Using the clock as a reference, the front of the
vehicle is 12:00, and the rear is 6:00 (Fig. 2).
ELEVATION: Angle in degrees measured from a level plane (Fig. 3).
SIGNAL STRENGTH: Intensity of signal received from the satellite or off-air transmission.
