Turning Off the Main Power
Preparation
Usually keep the main power
switch turned on.
Before you turn it off, be sure to
read the "Important" information
below and take the following pro-
cedural steps:

Make sure that the On indicator is
off.
BBBB
Turn off the main power switch to
make the Main Power indicator
go off.
Important
❒ Do not turn off the main power
switch when the On indicator is
on or blinking. Failure to ob-
serve this may result in damage
to the hard disk or memory.
❒ Pull out the power plug after
you turn off the main power
switch. Failure to observe this
may result in damage to the
hard disk or memory.
❒ If the main power switch is
turned off, or the power plug is
disconnected, any documents
stored in fax memory will be
lost after approximately one
hour.
