General Troubleshooting

lists the general problems that can occur, along with suggested

solutions.

Problem

Suggested Solution

Some operating systems do not load in
a computer with a MegaRAID SCSI
320-2 controller.

Check the system BIOS configuration for PCI interrupt
assignments. Make sure some Interrupts are assigned for
PCI.
Initialize the logical drive before installing the operating
system.

One of the hard drives in the array fails
often.

Check the drive error counts using Power Console Plus.

information.)
Format the drive.
Rebuild the drive
If the drive continues to fail, replace it with another drive with
the same capacity.
