56kbps CSU/DSU Interface Module

The 56kbps module supports the Dataphone Digital Service (DDS) without the
secondary signaling channel. This interface module supports the following
loopback modes:

• DSU loopback

• CSU loopback

• digital loopback

• local loopback

• local loopback transmit end (LLT)

• local loopback receive end (LLR).

The 56kbps CSU/DSU interface module may only be used in the Port 2 (MPANL
port) slot. Do not place the 56kbps module in Port 3.

An 8-position RJ48C jack is provided to interface with the DDS network.
