Strapping
E1 Voice Module Impedance Strapping
Impedance for each E1 interface line is determined by the placement of a header
on a jumper located on the E1 module. Impedance for each interface line may be
straped for either 75
Ω
or for 120
Ω.
The two lines may be strapped for the same
or for different impedance.
The locations of the two impedance straps are shown for line 1 in the following
figure.

For operation in the United Kingdom, this equipment may not be
connected to an E1 Digital service using the 75
Ω
interface.
