Enabling or disabling a port

You can enable or disable a port by two methods. To enable or disable a port
through the Device Manager menu bar:

On the device view, highlight a port.

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port.

The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed (

Figure 12 on

page 52

).

In the AdminStatus area, click up to enable the port, or click down to disable
the port.
