To empty the hopper (2, Fig. F) perform the following
procedure:

Lift and turn off the side broom by pushing and holding
the centre distributor lever (3, Fig. B-C).
Lift and turn off the main broom by shifting and holding
the distributor lever (4, Fig. B-C) to the right.
Turn off the suction fan (25, Fig. F) by turning the
distributor lever (18, Fig. B - 30 Fig. C) downward.
Close the skirt (19, Fig. F) by pulling and holding the left
distributor lever (1, Fig. B-C).
Drive the machine on a solid and level area, appointed to
empty the hopper.
Lift the hopper (2, Fig. F) as necessary, by pushing and
holding the right distributor lever (12, Fig. B - 31, Fig. C).

CAUTION!
The maximum hopper dumping height is 1,460
mm.

WARNING!
Pay careful attention when the hopper is lifted.
Avoid emptying it on slopes.

WARNING!
When emptying the hopper, check that there are
no people around the machine.

Open the skirt (19, Fig. F) to discharge the debris, by
pushing and holding the left distributor lever (1, Fig. B-C).
After emptying the hopper, close the skirt (19, Fig. F) by
pulling and holding the left distributor lever (1, Fig. B-C).
Lower the hopper by pulling and holding the right
distributor lever (12, Fig. B - 31, Fig. C).
Turn on the fi lter shaker (52, Fig. E), to clean the closed
pocket fi lter, by pressing the push-button (15, Fig. B-C)
for 15-20 seconds.

WARNING!
Do not turn on the fi lter shaker when the
hopper is lifted.

Perform steps 8 to 12 in transport mode section.

USING THE LEFT SIDE BROOM (OPTIONAL)

USING THE WINDSCREEN WIPER/WASHER
(OPTIONAL)

Press the switch (1, Fig. I) to start and stop the
windscreen wiper.

USING THE CAB CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
(OPTIONAL)

To turn on the climate control system, turn the switch
(18, Fig. C) to the fi rst position, which activates the fi rst
blower speed.
To activate the second blower speed, turn the switch (18,
Fig. C) to the second position.
To turn off the climate control system, turn the switch (18,
Fig. C) to the original position.

LIGHTING SYSTEM OPERATION

To turn on the lighting and signalling system, use the
combination switch (19, Fig. C), having the functions
shown in Machine Description chapter, in Description of
Control Panel with Options.

HAZARD WARNING LIGHT OPERATION

Turn on the hazard warning lights with the switch (22,
Fig. C).

CAB MANUAL LIFTING

To lift/lower the cab manually, perform the following
procedure.

Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
B-C) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Open the driver's seat hood (8, Fig. F).
Remove the hand pump lever (53, Fig. E).
Install the lever (53, Fig. E) on the hand pump (47).
To lift the cab, turn the pump selector (54, Fig. E) to the
right. Pump by using the above-mentioned lever.
To lower the cab, turn the pump selector (54, Fig. E) to
the left and pump until the cab is completely lowered.
Turn the selector (54, Fig. E) to neutral position.
