Shooting Still Pictures and Text with Voice Memo
(Recording with Voice Memo)

You can record approximately 10 seconds of voice memo with a still picture or

text image. Use this function to add your own comments or explanation.

Important

Note

• The microphone is located at the front of the camera. Aim the camera

so that you can record a voice memo for the best result.

• Please keep the camera at least 30 cm (11.8”) away from mobile

phones to prevent interference.

A

Set the mode dial to [

] or [

] and

press the MENU button.

Select [VOICE MEMO] and press the

button.

C

Select [ON] and then press the
ENTER button.

Note

• To cancel shooting with voice

memo, select [OFF].

Press the CANCEL button to exit the
menu display.

E

Press the shutter release button to
take the picture.

About 10 seconds of voice memo can be
recorded after the image has been displayed.
The

will flash during voice memo

recording.

Note

• The focus, exposure and white balance adjustment level are locked in

the status in effect when the shutter release button was pressed
halfway.

• Voice memo recording will start when recording image is complete.

The flashing

will indicate that recording has started.
