4.1
Turning on the Power

1.

Turn on your source components.

2.

Attach the two ferrite cores supplied with the display to each end of the AC power cable
as shown in Figure 4-1. Doing so will reduce radio frequency interference (RFI) emissions
to a level that conforms to FCC regulations. Use the supplied plastic bands to secure the
cores in place.

Plug the female end of the power cord into the AC receptacle on the rear of the
PlasmaView (AC 100V ~ 240V). Connect the other end to your AC power source.

Press the POWER button on the underside of the PlasmaView (see Figure 2-1). The
power indicator lights solid green.

5.

After a brief warm-up period (approximately 10 seconds), the PlasmaView will display an
image.
