Vertical and Horizontal Lens

Shift

If it is not possible to align the projector and screen as shown in Figure 3-2, you can use the
lens shift controls to center the image on the screen. Lens shift is generally expressed as a
percentage of the screen height or width, as shown in Figure 3-3 and Figure 3-4.

These are general examples of lens shift. Lenses vary in their shift
capabilities. No particular lens or projector is used in these
examples.
