There is no need to enter the password when changing the permission for lower levels.
Change Password
The user password may be changed.
On the PC-GUI, you can change your logon level from the System menu. Select [Changing
Logon User...] to open the Logon] dialog box. To change the logon level, type your user name
and password into the Logon dialog box.
On the Printer GUI, select the password change button to display the virtual keyboard. Enter a
new password using eight characters.
The default password for Operator and System Administrator is xerox.
Permission Restrictions
Some functions are not available on the Permission menu depending on the logon level. Those
functions are grayed out to disable selection.
