Directory
Your system administrator can populate your directory using a global directory parameter or Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol (LDAP) directory, and they can allow you to edit your own LDAP directory configuration settings, which will over-
ride the configuration coming from the configuration server (see
LDAP Directory on page 55 for more information). On the
directory screen, you will see all global entries, LDAP directories, and links to your contacts, favorites, and call history. Con-
tact your system administrator if you have any questions with the global directory. When the directory is sorted by default
or by first or last name, you can scroll through contacts using a A-Z menu.
Contacts can also be sorted by the following:
• default (alphabetic order)
• first name
• last name
• company then first name
• company then last name
• number or SIP URL
Users can also type in the name of the contact they are looking for in the search text field.
To Open the Directory:
1. In the telephone feature controls, touch the directory button.
The button is outlined in green, indicating that the directory is open.
