Call Handling Rules

On the Call Handling Rules page, you can setup how calls are handled based on your status (e.g. busy). Call handling rules
are applied in a top-down order, as they appear in the table. User’s can View, Add, Edit, Delete, and Reorder Rule Priori-
ties
on this screen.

The image below shows two call handling rules. The first rule is set up so that if the user’s presence is “busy”, the BluStar
8000i will “forward all calls” to a user-defined SIP address. The second rule states that regardless of the user’s presence, the
BluStar 8000i will “pretend to be busy” and send out a “busy” message to the caller.
