Use a 12mm socket or wrench to loosen and remove the bolts holding the sway bar bushings
and bushing retainer brackets in place. The front sway bar should now just drop out. Remove
the stock front sway bar. Keep the stock hardware for later re-installation. The stock brackets,
bushings, and sway bar will not be re-used.

Use the grease pack provided to apply a thick coat of grease to the inside of the sway bar
bushing. Slide the bushing over the sway bar with the split in the bushing towards the rear of the
vehicle when installed. Place the new brackets over the bushing. Cover the zerk fittings with the
caps attached to the brackets.

7)

Lift the Hotchkis sway bar into position the same way the stock sway bar came out. Use the new
mounting brackets and stock hardware to secure the new sway bar in place. The end of the bar
on the driver’s side should slide through the hose as shown.
