2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Unpacking
Unpack and verfy that the followng components have been ncluded:
• Scale Unt
• Weghng Platform (plastc base wth stanless steel pan)
• Instructon Manual
• AC Adapter
Save the packagng materal. Ths packagng ensures the deal protecton for the
storage or transport of the product.
2.2 Installing Components
Poston the weghng platform pns nto the through-holes on the top housng, then
set the platform securely nto place. Secure the n-use cover wth double-sded tape
as needed.
IMPORTANT:
• Before usng the scale, remove the shipping protection screw located
underneath the scale. Ths screw ensures protecton of the load cell durng
transport, but wll need to be removed for the scale to operate properly.
• It s recommended that the protectve screw be re-nstalled f transportng the
scale. Do not over-tghten the protectve screw as t may damage the load
cell. To re-nstall, turn the scale on and place a 500g weght on the pan,
then slowly screw n the protecton screw untl the dsplay shows a value
between 250g to 400g.
2.3 Selecting the Location
Operate the scale on a frm, level surface. Avod locatons wth rapd temperature
changes, excessve ar currents, vbratons, electromagnetc felds, heat or drect
sunlght.
2.4 Leveling the Scale
Adjust the levelng feet untl the bubble s centered n the crcle of the level ndcator
(located on the front panel).
NOTE: Ensure that the scale s level each tme ts locaton s changed.
