The Portable Plus balances are equipped
with an automatic shut off to extend
battery life. The automatic shut off will
operate from battery power or AC Adapt-
er power.
The auto shut off feature can be activat-
ed starting with the balance on or off.
Press and hold until the display
indicates AoFF, release, then press
to select either ON or OFF,
then press to enter.
NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE: When the balance is set for auto
shut off, it will turn off if it remains idle for
2 minutes (no load changes, or button
presses).

To turn the balance OFF, press and hold
until the display indicates OFF,
then release .
NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE: If power is disconnected from the
balance by removing the power plug
when it is ON, the current unit selection
(g or dwt) will not be stored. The balance
should always be turned off using the
OFF MODE button.
