Chapter 7: Roof Assembly

NOTE: The temperature cable bracket must be installed at specific locations, see

About Temperature

1. Loosen and remove the flange bolts (E) and flange nuts (F) connecting the lower purlin clips (C and

D) and the rafter (A).

NOTE: If X-bracing was installed, loosen and remove the flange bolts and flange nuts attached.

2. Attach a temperature cable bracket (B) to the lower right purlin clip (D) and the roof rafter (A).

3. Install three flange bolts (E) and three flange nuts (F).

NOTE: If X-bracing is installed, make sure the flange bolts and the flange nuts are installed after it is

aligned with the purlin clips and the rafter.

4. Tighten all hardware to the recommended torque specifications. See

Bolt Torque Specifications,

5. Install a quick link (C) to each cable bracket (B) to support the temperature cables.

IMPORTANT: Do not attach weights to the temperature cables; secure the bottom of cables to the

floor with light twine. No roof rafter shall support more than one cable.
