The milling head gearbox
may be rotated in 90º
increments to clear work
piece obstructions. Manual
feed handles and power
feeds may be mounted on
either end of the bed or
Ram.
Spindle Travel
Side Milling
The milling head may be rotated and
trammed at 90º increments for side
milling and inverted milling. A 360º
swivel plate is also available to allow the
milling head to be locked at any angle.
Inverted Milling
Riser assemblies are available in one
inch increments, from 1 - 6 inches.
Risers mount between the main bed
saddle plate and the Ram to raise the
milling head assembly. The 6 inch riser
is recommended for inverted milling to
achieve the best travel from the Quill.
