6.6.1 NorthBridge Configuration
Use the NorthBridge Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 24) to configure the northbridge
chipset.

DRAM Frequency [Auto]
The DRAM Frequency option specifies the DRAM frequency or allows the system to
automatically detect the DRAM frequency.
400MHz Sets the DRAM frequency to 400MHz
533MHz Sets the DRAM frequency to 533MHz
667MHz Sets the DRAM frequency to 667MHz
Auto D EFAULT Automatically selects the DRAM frequency
Configure DRAM Timing by SPD [Enabled]
The Configure DRAM Timing by SPD option determines if the system uses the SPD
(Serial Presence Detect) EEPROM to configure the DRAM timing. The SPD EEPROM
contains all necessary DIMM specifications the including speed of the individual
components such as CAS and bank cycle time as well as valid settings for the module and
