2.9.2 Operating Temperature and Temperature Control
The maximum and minimum operating temperatures for the IMBA-9454 are listed below.
Minimum Operating Temperature: 0ºC (32°F)
Maximum Operating Temperature: 60°C (140°F)
A cooling fan and heat sink must be installed on the CPU. Thermal paste must be
smeared on the lower side of the heat sink before it is mounted on the CPU. Heat sinks
are also mounted on the northbridge and southbridge chipsets to ensure the operating
temperature of these chips remain low.

Table 2-6 shows the power consumption parameters for the IMBA-9454 running with an
Intel ® Pentium ® 4, 3.73 GHz, 1066MHz CPU with 1GB of 677MHz DDR2 memory.
