Intel® SpeedStep® Technology [Enabled]

Intel® SpeedStep® allows the frequency and voltage of the CPU to be adjusted by system

software. Reducing the voltage and frequency reduces power consumption of the CPU

when it is not being used heavily. It is recommended to leave this setting enabled.

Intel® C-State Technology [Disabled]

Intel® C-State is for power saving when the CPU is idle, enabling lower voltages and

reduced frequency.

5.3.2 IDE Configuration

Use the IDE Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 4) to change and/or set the configuration

of the IDE devices installed in the system.
