1.3 Keypad
A large splash proof membrane keypad with tactile feedback makes meter easy to use. Names and symbols
describe the function button controls.
Key Measurement Mode Calibration / Setup Mode
ON/OFF Powers the meter ON/OFF. When the meter is
switched on, it automatically starts in the last
mode of operation. ~
CAL/MEAS Toggles between the measurement and
calibration modes of the meter. In SETUP
mode, pressing CAL/MEAS key returns to the
measurement mode. ~
MODE Toggles between the different measurement
modes available pH/Temperature/mV/Ion. (Ion
mode only applies with the ION 510.) Switches from pH to Temperature in pH
calibration mode
MI/ ¿ MI inputs measurements into memory and
scrolls through memory values. ¿ scrolls values in mV calibration mode
and selects temperature values and ion
options in calibration mode. Scrolls to
next program in the SETUP mode.
MR/ À MR recalls measurements from memory and
scrolls through memory values. À scrolls values in mV calibration mode
and selects temperature values and ion
options in calibration Scrolls to next
program in the SETUP mode.
HOLD Freezes a measurement on the display. Press
again to get current readings. ~
ENTER Enter functions in the memory mode. Confirms and enters the value selected
for calibration.
You can also configure functions like Meter Reset, Memory Clear and Selection of pH Buffer Standard via the
keypad. Please refer to Section 5 for more information on the above functions.
