Commands Providing Interoperability

Following is a list of frequently used commands and utilities that provide for interoperability between
the OSS and Guardian environments. All are OSS commands except for osh, which is a TACL
command.

Creates one or more DEFINEs for the current OSS shell.

add_define(1)

Deletes one or more DEFINEs for the current OSS shell.

del_define(1)

Runs a process in the Guardian environment from the OSS environment.

gtacl(1)

Displays attributes and values of existing DEFINEs.

info_define(1)

Runs a process in the OSS environment from the Guardian environment.

osh(1)

Restores a DEFINE’s attributes to their initial settings.

reset_define(1)

Runs processes with Guardian attributes.

run(1)

Sets values for DEFINE attributes in the working attribute set.

set_define(1)

Displays values of attributes.

show_define(1)
