Known Issues

When HP 3PAR CLI is not installed using HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Software for SQL setup:

If the certificate is not saved for current StoreServ username used by HP 3PAR Recovery
Manager Software for SQL, errors occur for all HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Software

for SQL tasks or HP 3PAR VSS Provider tasks, except for new StoreServ registration
command in HP 3PAR VSS Provider.

In such cases, to proceed further, the administrator must validate the certificate again
using the HP 3PAR VSS Provider provcfg.exe utility.

If the certificate is expired or is invalid for configured StoreServ username in HP 3PAR
VSS Provider, errors occur for all HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Software for SQL tasks or
HP 3PAR VSS Provider tasks, except for new StoreServ registration command in HP 3PAR
VSS Provider.

In such cases, to proceed further, the administrator must validate the certificate again
using the HP 3PAR VSS Provider provcfg.exe utility.

If an array has a valid license but it expires, all Recovery Manager operations fail after license
expiry.

If the license is expired but it is in cache memory, then all Recovery Manager operations
succeed with the expired license. Administrator must ensure that a new certificate is generated
at the StoreServ and register the StoreServ again from HP 3PAR VSS Provider.

If there is any change in the certificate on the StoreServ, register the StoreServ again in the
HP 3PAR VSS Provider using the provcfg command.
