shows information that is displayed by the FLASHCPY QUERY RELATIONS

command.

"ADDRESSED VOLUME INFORMATION" describes the relationships inside the volume to which
the FLASHCPY QUERY RELATIONS command is issued. "PARTNER VOLUME INFO" describes
the volume that has relationships that are paired with the relationships in the volume to which the
FLASHCPY QUERY RELATIONS

command is issued.

Releasing relationships for Compatible FlashCopy SE

The FCWITHDR command can be used with Compatible FlashCopy. However, DDSW=YES cannot
be specified. The allocated area remains even if the relationship is released, because withdrawal
of the allocated area of the TSE-VOL cannot be specified.

The following example shows a request to the release all relationships established with copy target
extents in device 4203.

To release Compatible FlashCopy SE relationships, you can use one of the following sets of
commands:

ICKDSF

ANTRQST Macro

z/VM CP

Using ICKDSF to release relationships

The FLASHCOPY WITHDRAW command can be used for Compatible FlashCopy SE as well as for
Compatible FlashCopy. However, MODE(COPY) cannot be specified. By specifying the RELATSPACE
parameter you can withdraw the allocated area of TSE-VOL.

To release a relationship using the ICKDSF FLASHCPY WITHDRAW command:
