Comparison of supporting commands
IBM FlashCopy supports the ICKDSF commands while Compatible FlashCopy partly supports them.
However, if you execute the commands to a Cnt Ac-S Z M-VOL or BC Z S-VOL that is in pending
status, the commands will end abnormally with CC=12. See
“If ICKDSF command ends abnormally”
for details on how to avoid the abnormal ending.
In addition, Compatible FlashCopy does not support the following parameters of the TSO commands:
