3. Install the fan.
4. Be sure that the fan LED is green (" Hot-plug fan LED " on page 24 ).
5. Install the access panel (" Installing the access panel " on page 29 ).
6. Be sure that the front panel internal health LED is green (" Front panel LEDs and buttons " on page 9 ).
Front fan bracket
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 27 ).
2. Extend or remove the server from the rack (" Extend the server from the rack " on page 28 ).
3. Remove the access panel (" Removing the access panel " on page 29 ).
4. Remove the front fan bracket.
5. Remove all hot-plug fans from the front fan bracket.
To replace the front fan bracket, reverse the removal steps and press down on the top of each fan to be
sure it is seated properly.
