5.4. Setup Menu
The SETUP MENU is used to program the MAX 5000XL with information relevant to all
operations and tests.
From the SETUP MENU, it is possible to
setup the printer, items to be printed, time
and date, certain items on the display,
access codes, network addressing and
access, and prepare foils for testing.
Printer Setup
This menu provides a means of selecting
the type of printer that is attached to the
MAX 5000XL, which port is to be used,
and if an automatic form feed is desired. If
the port option of “Both” is selected the
data will be sent to the computer serial
port and the parallel printer port. Graphics
will not be sent to the RS-232 serial port.
