Configuring an
Authenticator
Port
To configure an authenticator port, perform the following procedure:
1. On the Home page, select Configuration.
The Configuration System page is displayed with the General tab
shown by default.
2. Select the Layer 1 option.
The Layer 1 page is shown with the Port Settings tab shown by
default.
3. Select the 802.1x Port Access tab.
The Configuration 802.1x Port Access tab is displayed as shown in
Figure 218 on page 566.
Note
You must set up the port role as authenticator before you can
configure an authenticator port.
4. Click on an authenticator port or ports and click Settings.
The Authenticator Parameters page is displayed, as shown in
Figure 220.
