Playing Back Images in Albums
If you select h Favorite pictures mode when
changing the playback mode (
A 72), the album
selection screen is displayed.
Use the multi selector to select an album and then
press the
k button to play back the images that have
been added to the selected album.
• The following operations are available from the
album selection screen.

d button: Changes the album icon (E6).

l button: Deletes all images in the selected album.
• When viewing images in full-frame playback mode or thumbnail playback
mode, press the
d button to display the menu and then select the h
(favorite pictures menu) tab to select a feature from the playback menu (
A 73).
Removing Images from Albums
Press the
k button in full-frame playback mode in
favorite pictures mode to remove the image. A
confirmation screen is displayed. Select Yes and press
the
k button to remove the image.

Notes About Deletion
When images are added to an album, they are not moved or copied to the album. Only the image
file names are added to the album. During playback, images are retrieved according to their file
names.
If an image is deleted while using favorite pictures mode, the image will not only be removed from
the album, but the corresponding image file will also be permanently deleted from the internal
memory or the memory card.
